Maid pours hot water on handicapped child

An Ethiopian housemaid waited for her Saudi employers to go out and poured boiling water on their little handicapped daughter, a newspaper reported on Monday.

The girl’s 10-year-old brother, who was at home in the northeastern town of Hafr Al Batin, rushed to the nearby police station and reported the maid, Sabq said.

Police arrested the maid while the child was taken to hospital suffering from burns in various parts of her body.

The paper said police questioned the maid on her motives for burning that little girl, whose age was not specified.
